Nate's Book Recommendation

© 2016 by MCIG,LLC - All Rights Reserved

My Focus

I am a mindset and transformation coach. I help leaders and entrepreneurs who secretly lack confidence break free by exposing and shattering their limiting beliefs. My passion in life is to help others find clarity, find direction and live a more purposeful life.

Growing up I secretly lacked confidence in myself and became really good at pretending. I remember in high school dotting every I and crossing every T from my dress code to my handwriting in hopes that it would mask the confidence that I lacked within myself. What was strange, is that I knew that there was something special or unique about me but always avoided the conversation with myself. Through my parent's strong recommendation I went on to college with no clarity and sketchy direction to drop out a year later. During my time in college, I had no money, missed quite a bit of meals and was not able to keep up with my obligations to my roommates.  I knew something had to change! Still, to this day I don't know what or who inspired me to grab the book Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. I literally read the entire book in one day. This one book shattered my current perspective and unlocked something within me. At this point, I realized the importance of investing in myself.

I took a job in the automobile industry and struggled for the first couple of months.  During this time I was introduced to Zig Ziglar's podcast and applied what I learned.  The third month of the new job I outsold all 25 sales reps and was named salesman of the month. At the age of 18, I got a taste of what I was capable of and never looked back since. From buying and selling millions of dollars in real estate to acquiring and turning around several struggling companies. Fast forward 10 years later, I moved into my dream home on the 16th green in one of the most exclusive subdivisions in the state. Playing golf 4 days a week and semi-retired, I was living the life that I thought I identified with but could not shake the feeling of knowing there was more for me to do. I then went on a discovery mission to find out who I really was and what I was truly passionate about. Through this discovery, I realized that I wasn't what others around me said I was. People said I was a good businessman but I realized it was deeper than that. It was at this time in my life I realized I was truly passionate about helping good people become great people and that was the reason for my business success.

My Mission

My life mission is to inspire over a million people globally. Helping people restore confidence within themselves, to find clarity, direction and live a more purposeful life. My coaching and mentorship programs are designed to help people cut there learning curve in half along with helping people identify who they really are and discover what they really believe.  I am not in the motivation business. I am committed to life transformation.

Benefits of being a Mentee

What is Coaching?

Coaching is more structured in nature and meetings are scheduled on a regular basis. The agenda is focused on achieving specific, immediate goals. This relationship is more or less a short-term option and focused on specific areas.

Establish and act towards achieving goals

Coaching gives the individual an opportunity to define their career goals in a realistic way. With the assistance of a coach, they can set these goals and then actively work towards them. This will increase the likelihood that the goals will be achieved.

Increased engagement

When an individual is engaged, they are able to contribute more effectively to the team and the organization. This engagement also helps to increase employee retention rates for the organization.

A deeper level of learning

Coaching isn’t just about improving an individual’s skills in the workplace, it takes learning to an even deeper level. Through coaching, an individual can learn more about themselves. They can find out how they are perceived by others and improve on areas of their personalities and even their lives that they are not satisfied with.

A safe place to gain perspective

Having a coach gives the individual a safe place to go and talk through sensitive issues. They can then gain perspective without feeling intimidated by someone within their personal life or own organization.

Build a personal awareness

A coach is able to give an individual idea for ways to improve themselves, but more importantly, they can help them become aware of the “blind spots”. These blind spots are areas of the individual’s work or personality that they may not see.

Support for improving specific skills

Having support for improving skills can be extremely beneficial. Knowing that someone is there to help you to achieve your goals is an important part of the coaching process. These specific skills can include communication, delegation, conflict management, team building, and persuasion.

TESTIMONIALS

Not even sure where to begin!!! I met Mr. Nate 5 years ago when I interviewed him to be apart of Little Blessings that I heard so many great things about and wanted nothing more than to be apart of the team!! From the very beginning, he was always helping me, pushing me, and encouraging me to do my best! He saw things in me that I doubted in myself and helped me work on myself to work towards my full potential! He believed in me and constantly challenges me to step out of my comfort zone! I’ll forever be grateful for him and the opportunities he has given me (no matter how old I was!!) he’s such a great boss, mentor, and leader!! I pray to be half the person he is someday!! Thanks for being a huge part of my journey!

Nathaniel taught me life is all in your mindset. You have to get yourself in the frame of mind of who you want to be. You have to believe in yourself because if you don’t no one else will. Then make goals and start working towards them. It’s a steady working progress and everyday is a lesson to prep you for the next step of who you were meant to be!
